7A pump

Advanced component · equations, parameters and limits.

7ATabulated pumpPumpCurve · Насос 7A

S suction · P delivery · hydraulic · no stored state

A quasi-static pressure/flow characteristic with an external on/off signal. The initial preset approximates the Eaton MPEV3-056-7A curve; the instance table can be edited.

Δp = pP − pS
Q = enabled ? F(Δp) : 0
QS = Q   ·   QP = −Q   ·   Phyd,out = Δp Q
Table
2–200 [Δp in Pa, Q in m³/s] points. Pressures strictly increase; flows are nonnegative and nonincreasing. The final flow must be zero.
Interpolation
Piecewise linear. Below the first point: constant first flow down to Δp = 0. At/above the last pressure: zero flow.
Control u
External dimensionless input: exactly 0 (off) or 1 (on). Use Boolean Schedule or Constant; v3 has no embedded schedule.
Limits
Negative differential pressure is unsupported. Cutoff sets zero delivery; it does not cap network pressure or drain stored energy. Off mode assumes ideal reverse isolation.
Outputs
Pressure difference, delivery flow, hydraulic output power and enabled state.
The 7A table is approximate, with nominal corrections to the digitized curve. Each saved pump includes its own table and provenance snapshot. The model has no regulator dynamics, electrical efficiency, thermal model or additional leakage correction. See pump data provenance.

Power ports and constitutive model

Power ports and constitutive modelTwo hydraulic power ports S and P of the active pump characteristic; a separate binary input u enables flow.SPumpCurvePu ∈ {0, 1}p_S, Qp_P, QQ = u F(p_P − p_S)
Directly implemented active two-port characteristic; there is no internal classic-element macro in the current compiler. A plain Sf is insufficient because delivery depends on the pressure rise. A source-based equivalent would also need the pressure-dependent characteristic and its enable logic. The block supplies hydraulic power Δp Q without exposing a shaft or electrical power port. This is a port schematic, not a passive R replacement. Half-arrows set positive power references; dashed pink arrows carry signals only. Causal strokes are omitted because they depend on the connected model.
